Frequently asked questions
Clarity Log is a private record-keeping app designed to help you document important interactions, events, communications and agreements while the details are still fresh. Your records can be organised into cases and reviewed through your timeline, calendar, search and filters, making it easier to find important information later.
Clarity Log is designed for everyday situations where keeping an accurate, organised record may be useful. This could include co-parenting arrangements, workplace matters, landlord or tenant communications, contractors and home projects, customer or service issues, personal agreements, or simply events you want to keep a clear record of.
Yes. Clarity Log includes a Free plan that lets you maintain one active case and create unlimited written entries. Free users also have access to features including the Timeline, Calendar, search and filters. Premium features are planned separately and will add additional tools such as multiple cases, media attachments, voice dictation, Clarity Assist and reports. Premium is not currently available to purchase.
A case is a way of keeping related records together. For example, you might create separate cases for a home renovation, workplace matter or co-parenting arrangement. Entries connected to that case can then be viewed as part of the same organised record.
Media attachments are a Premium feature. Premium will allow supporting media to be kept alongside relevant entries so that your notes and associated files can be organised together. Written entries remain unlimited on the Free plan within your active case.
Clarity Assist is an optional Premium feature designed to help make your written notes clearer and easier to read. For example, it can help polish the wording of notes you've already written while preserving the original notes. Clarity Assist does not determine whether something happened or whether the information you've recorded is correct.
When you choose to use the Polish Notes feature, Clarity Log keeps your original notes while allowing you to apply a clearer version. This means the wording you originally recorded is preserved rather than silently replaced.
Report creation is planned as part of Clarity Premium. Premium users will be able to select records from a chosen period and organise them into a report that can be reviewed, exported or shared. AI-assisted summaries may also be available where selected by the user.
No. Clarity Log is a record-keeping and organisation tool. It does not provide legal advice, determine who is right or wrong, or decide whether information recorded by a user is true. If you need legal advice about your circumstances, you should speak to an appropriately qualified professional.
No. Clarity Log stores and organises information provided by its users. It does not independently verify events, statements, attachments or other information recorded in the app.
If you move from Premium to the Free plan, your existing records are not deleted. You can continue adding and editing written entries in your selected Free case. Other existing cases remain accessible in read-only form, including their existing entries and attachments. If you later return to Premium, full access to those cases can be restored.
No. Clarity Log does not sell your personal information to advertisers. Information is handled in accordance with the Clarity Log Privacy Policy.
